4.0 SPILL REPORTING, NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES, and SPILL CONTROL
COMPANIES/MATERIALS SUPPLIERS
The primary goal of the SPCC Plan is prevention and containment of spills; however, in the
event that a spill occurs and it threatens to impact the waters of the State of Colorado, the
following procedures will be followed by the management, operating, and/or security personnel
on duty.
4.1 Spill containment and control procedures, as outlined in Section 5 of this Plan, will be the
first action implemented to mitigate or minimize impact. Note the date, time, exact location,
material(s) spilled, estimated quantity, control measures used, names of workers involved in
clean-up, and action needed to prevent reoccurrence. See Appendix 1 for a "Spill Incident
Report" form.
4.2 As soon as practical after control steps have been taken, the following Climax Personnel
should be notified with the information noted in (1) above (i.e., date, time, material spilled,
quantity, control methods,personnel, action to prevent reoccurrence, etc.):
