In the inspection report the <br />Divisions requested we file Technical Revision to add a Weed <br />Control Plan and to allow for recycling asphalt at the mine. <br />However, a weed control plan is not needed since the existing <br />Weed Control Plan was approved by the Division on 11/27/06. We <br />have updated it, to add the additional weeds noted in the inspec- <br />tion report and make it more flexible to do control on all <br />noxious weeds. The revised Weed Control Plan is attached for <br />your review. The following text addresses the request to allow <br />asphalt and concrete recycling at the mine. <br />Recycling <br />In the current market the need for recycled materials to <br />offset the use of raw material as base material is becoming a <br />reality. More and more state and local contracts call for using <br />certain percentages of recycled aggregates for building infra- <br />structure like road and parking lots.
