August 31, 2010 C-1983-059/Terror Creek Load6-, JJD <br />REVEGETATION - Rule 4.15110 Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />The north and west halves of the permit area, including the material storage area in the northeast section of <br />the permit area, had a moderate to good vegetative cover. The facilities bench outslope had a moderate vegetative <br />cover. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />There were no coal haul trucks unloading or railcars being loaded during the inspection, nor were the <br />crusher/screener facilities in operation. No problems were observed with any of the facilities, including the <br />material storage area, loadout office and substation. There were no fuel leaks at the fuel facility. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS - Rule 4.02: <br />The mine identification signs were up at the main entrance, east entrance and near the railroad tracks. The <br />required information. was on each sign. <br />TOPSOIL - Rule 4.061] . Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br />Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />The vegetative cover on the east side topsoil stockpile was moderate to good. The vegetation was <br />beginning to brown. The collection ditch was in place and the topsoil signs were up on the stockpile. The west side <br />topsoil stockpile also had a moderate to good vegetative cover that was turning brown.
