Plans and specifications for the Eagle Park Reservoir outlet works project were <br /> approved by the Office of the State Engineer on July 14, 1995. The construction contract <br /> was awarded to ASI RCC, Inc. of Buena Vista, Colorado in August 1995. <br /> Key dates for significant construction activities were as follows: <br /> 1) Excavation of the embankment began September 28 and was <br /> completed in mid-October, 1995. <br /> 2) Concrete for the lower pipe cradle was placed October 25 and 26, <br /> 1995. <br /> 3) Placement of the 24-inch RCP was completed November 7, 1995. <br /> 4) Concrete for the cutoff collars was placed November 17, 1995. <br /> 5) The upper pipe cradle was completed about December 11, 1995. <br /> 6) Concrete placement for the outlet intake structure was completed <br /> December 15, 1995. <br /> 7) Portions of the 24-inch bypass conduit were remotely inspected <br /> December 18 and 19, 1995. <br /> 8) Pressure testing of the 24-inch RCP outlet pipe was completed <br /> December 19, 1995. <br /> 9) Flow fill placement was completed about December 21, 1995. <br /> 10) The decision to postpone all earthwork until spring was announced <br /> December 28, 1995. <br /> 11) Upper portions of the 24-inch bypass conduit were remotely <br /> inspected January 29, 1996. <br /> 12) Reconstruction of the dam embankment resumed June 1996. <br /> 13) The lower portion of 24-inch bypass conduit was removed June 3, <br /> 1996. Remaining portions of bypass conduit were grouted solid on <br /> June 10, 1996. <br /> 14) Reconstruction of the embankment was completed June 24, 1996. <br /> 15) Gate, stem, vent pipe, gage pipe, stage marker, and riprap were <br /> installed September 1996. <br /> 2 <br />
