The following records were not on file or need to be updated: <br />- ATFE Explosives Permit expired 8/1/2010 and is in the process of renewal. <br />- 2Q2010 Coal Processing Waste Banks report is on file with the Division but not on file at the TCC office. <br />See attached DRMS Availability of Records <br />BACKFILL and GRADING - Rule 4.14 <br />?Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination <br />4.14.1(2)(f); Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and <br />Gullies 4.14.6: <br />Grading operations were being conducted within the cuttings pit at the 18LT Borehole in order to remove the <br />small berm that separated the pit and slope the base to help collect any run-off or snowmelt that may collect. <br />Recent backfilling and grading operations were conducted at the 18LT dewatering pipeline corridor with no <br />problems noted. <br />EXPLOSIVES - Rule 4.08 <br />? Distance Prohibitions 4.08.4; Warnings 4.08.4; Control of Adverse Effects 4.08.4: <br />The area of the explosive bunkers was stable with no problems noted. The following maintenance items were <br />noted: <br />- Non-coal waste needs to be removed from the collection ditch on the north side of the area. <br />- A large (-72") CMP will need to be removed from an undisturbed area to the south of the explosive <br />bunkers/material storage area. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE - Rule 4.18: <br />Raptor protection was observed on power poles throughout the mine site. Construction permitted under TR73 has <br />yet to begin.
