I'Meda <br />V Director <br />Re: Natural Soda Inc., Nacholite Project, ermit No. M-1983-194, Approva of 112 Reclamation Permit <br />Technical Revision Package, TR-31. ---------- <br />Dear Mr. Warneke: <br />On August 13, 2010 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety approved the Technical Revision application <br />submitted to the Division on July 12, 2010, addressing the following: <br />Installation of the 121-1-1 horizontal injection well. <br />Installation of the 12H-R vertical recovery well. <br />Total proposed surface disturbance of 4.25 acres. <br />The terms of the Technical Revision No. 31 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M- <br />1983-194. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1983-194 remain in full force and effect. <br />Staff calculations estimate the additional cost to reclaim the site to be $42,666.00, added to the existing required <br />reclamation bond amount of $1,893,555.00 for a total reclamation bond amount of $1,936221.00. The estimate is <br />based on the increased reclamation liability associated with Technical Revision No. 30. Natural Soda, Inc. must <br />submit and have accepted the Financial Warranty for the technical revision to the permit to become active. Please <br />review the estimate carefully.
