• Previously seeded areas will be examined the following growing season to evaluate the success of the revegetation
efforts. Re-seeding shall be done if this previous seeding failed or is insufficient.
6.14 (i)(c)(iii)
A grass seed mix and application schedule has been developed specifically for this site through consultation with the
Natural Resource Conservation Service (see NRCS seed mix specification attached as an appendix to this Exhibit
D):
Redondo Arizona Fescue 1.8 PLS pounds/acre
Hachita Blue Grama 1.0 PLS pounds/acre
Canbar Canby Bluegrass 1.0 PLS pounds/acre
Critana Thickspike Wheatgrass 3.3 PLS pounds/acre
Rosana Western Wheatgrass 6.4 PLS pounds/acre
Covar Sheep Fescue 1.2 PLS pounds/acre
This will be sowed together with fertilization and irrigation (if determined necessary) until permanent vegetation is
re-established.
6.3.4(1)(c)(iv)
The grass seed mixture described above in 6.14(1)(e)(iii) shall be broadcast at a rate of 15 pounds of pure live seed
per acre. Once the seed is broadcast, the seedbed shall be adequately raked to provide for seed placement.
Previously seeded areas will be examined the following growing season to evaluate the success of the revegetation
efforts. Re-seeding shall be done if this previous seeding failed or is insufficient.
During all phases of operations and reclamation, inspection shall be routine to identify the presence or establishment
of noxious weeds, as defined by the State of Colorado. The Company shall work in concert. with Clear Creek
is County's Noxious Weed Supervisor, Ted Brown (303-679-2467), to identify and manage this potential problem.
6.3.4(1)(c)(v)
Inorder to improve the soil's water holding capacity, the NRCS strongly recommends the application of certified
weed free straw (applied at 2 tons per acre) covered with bio-degradable netting or application of wood cellulose
hydro mulch with a long-lived tackifier. Temporary erosion control measures shall be implemented around this area
during this activity (ie silt fence, straw bales, see SWMP).
6.3.4(1)(c)(vi)
No shrub or tree species are scheduled to be established as part of this Reclamation Plan. Any natural re-
establishment of native species of the same, however, shall be acceptable.
6.3.40)(d)
Any infrastructure development (ie electric/water utility, roads, etc.) or any structures built are to remain in place per
landowner's (Venture Resources') request.
Specifically, these structures shall remain in place after operations cease and post-reclamation. These structures can
be identified in the maps of Exhibit E:
• Overhead electric utility line, associated transformers and power distribution. These are private, owned by
Venture Resources and may be used for potential, future real-estate development.
• Pre-existing public roads.
• Water Holding Pond. Future use of source water for fire-fighting.
• Leachate Collection facility components to remain include the diversion ditches and concrete collection barrier.
Pumps, electric control panels, pipelines, sediment pond, etc. shall be removed. The Reclamation Cost
Schedule, included as an appendix to this Exhibit D, provides for costs to dispose of this equipment in a
municipal landfill.
• • Mobile Mill Site mobile and portable equipment may remain on-site in an inactive state for storage. This
conforms to existing Clear Creek Mining District Zoning M-1 and M-2 designation. It shall be recalled that tlis
Page 4 of 9
