Ponds A, B,and D were retaining water,but none of the ponds were <br /> discharging. The east yard pond and Substation No. 3 Pond were dry and stable. Oxbow Mining, LLC(OMLLC) <br /> plans to dredge and clean Ponds A and B sometime next month. As seen in the attached photographs these ponds <br /> are both nearing their sediment capacity. The material will be hauled to the east yard pond for drying out and then <br /> will be placed in the I1-West refuse pile. Pond embankments, inlets and discharge structures were stable and no <br /> problems were noted at any of the sediment pond locations. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br /> Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br /> =Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5)and(6)/4.03.2(5)and(6) <br /> Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> The main mine access road at the entrance to the mine was blocked off due to repair work at the coal storage silo. <br /> Access to the mine is from the east side gate only until the silo repair is completed. Apparently a coal fire <br /> damaged the man door of the silo. As can be seen in the attached photograph the man door was repaired and <br /> shotcrete was used to repair the damaged concrete.
