The reclaimed road leading to the reclaimed fan site and the reclaimed fan site itself both appeared to be
stable.There were no indications of slope instability.The reclaimed west portal area,however,continues to show
instability problems with the backfill,probably due to the adjacent landslide.

The sediment pond was dry.The gate on the primary discharge pipe was in the closed position and the
emergency spillway was clear of any debris.The operator had removed the rock that had been partially blocking
the outlet of the discharge pipe.The sediment pond embankment was stable and the pond inslopes had a good
vegetative cover. The collection ditch leading into the sediment pond had sufficient capacity.
The hillside spring water treatment pond was discharging into the river at about 10 to 15 gpm.The discharge had
the usual orange color,which has been found to be in compliance with receiving stream standards.The hillside
spring was flowing properly into the constructed collection ditch.
The culvert at the entrance gate had sufficient capacity. The caps on the two alluvial wells were in place.No
problems were noted with the wells.The riverside berm was in place and had sufficient height.
