This monitoring verified <br /> their subsidence predictions. From 2000 through Spring 2007, West Elk <br /> conducted an annual visual inspection of recently undermined areas and <br /> previously identified subsidence features. The frequency of this visual <br /> inspection was increased to semi-annually beginning in Fall 2007.
