AMEC personnel observed placement constantly and will continue. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES and PROGRESS: <br />II) EARTHWORKS <br />A) Topsoil <br />1) Stripping <br />No work performed during the week. <br />B) Subgrade Preparation <br />1) VLF <br />Fine grading, moisture conditioning, and compaction of subgrade was performed prior to soil <br />liner fill (SLF) placement during the week. The areas inspected and approved for placement <br />are shown in Figure 2. <br />C) Slope Contouring <br />1) VLF <br />Slope contouring was performed between stations E10+00 (+/-) and E22+00 (+/-), <br />approximately 0 to 300 feet right of centerline and between stations H0+00 (+/-) and 1-110+00 <br />(+/-), approximately 0 to 400 feet right of centerline. Slope contouring was performed using <br />various CAT dozers and various CAT excavators. The material generated as the cut progressed <br />was pushed down the slope. <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 06.26.10.D
