Using your professional knowledge of the region, why are there none or very limited <br />cultural remains in the project area? Is there subsurface potential? The colluvium <br />sediment and dense vegetation may have resulted in limited cultural materials <br />encountered in the project area. Subsurface potential is minimal due to the colluvial <br />nature of the project area A pin flag probe was almost impossible to place in the <br />ground. <br />The four IFs by their nature are not eligible for inclusion in the National Register of <br />Historic Places. Thus no further work is necessary with regard to this proiect. Cultural <br />resource approval for this undertaking to proceed is recommended. <br />32.
