the way, this does not change ONE thing that they have to do different as far as reclamation.
ANYTHING that is harvested GRASS< HAY CORN WEEDS, anything harvested for
production is cropland. Kochia is a weed, but back East they harvest Kochia for hay and I have
seen Tumble weeds which are Russian thistle harvested for production. This is cropland. Save
yourselves a lot of time and heart ache and just cut all the terminology down to the laws and
classify them accordingly and all of these pages of nonsense will end.
It does not matter if they had irrigation or if they had good management or anything. If they were
harvested for production, they are cropland.
NRCS< WFC< NOR THE STATE have the right to say whether a person has enough water or
not. Irrigation is not part of you laws. If it was cropped, it was and is cropland. It does not
matter whether NRCS thinks, or you think, or WFC thinks that the management was bad or there
wasn't enough water. Cropland is not based on irrigation or on management or how much
production. Cropland is anything that has been harvested for prodction, PERIOD!
It amazing that everyone here raised families and farmed their entire lives and got along just fine
without WFC and without the state. We had cropland and still do and irrigation is not a
requirement for CROPLAND. Cropland does not have to be prime. Prime farmland must be
cropland.
NrCS can give you data and hope that you can apply their information to the situation. We are
the farmers, NRCS do not have the hands on experience here nor have they lived here and
experienced what we have. They give you data and figures, but that does not mean that is the
way it is. One share will do 2 acres and we have stated this numerous times.
Our continued lifestyle speaks for itself. HOW MANY OF YOU COULD LIVE THIS WAY
AND SURVIVE ON $500 PER Month and not really need anything? Most of you couldn't even
pay one of your bills for how we can survive and don't really need anything. And then WFC
try and take that away from us.
Put it back as good as or better than it was.
2.05.4(2)(e)-3 Again FLOOD irrigation. ALL LIES> I have enclosed numerous pictures and
wrote on the back and have many here 8x10's that I brought to the public hearing and basically
just ignored. We have not flood irrigated for 39 years!!!!
Bensons was cropland and they are using his water to do San Miguel Power property which has
no water out of CC ditch. They also use Garvey and Burbridges water to do San Miguel Power
property which they have NO LEGAL RIGHTS to. One share will do 2 acres of land.
Bensons was also furrowed.
Lloyds was furrowed. Put it back as good as it was or BETTER!
JOHNSONS which is now WFC. All LIES> He had Alluvials that subirrigated and he had 100's
