C
'Ir
Project Description
The MDP would include the following activities:
• Clearing and leveling four (4) 300 x 500 foot drill pads;
• Constructing 0.8 miles of new road to access drill sites with co-located gas gathering lines and water transmission lines;
• Conducting drilling operations for approximately 16 months, each individual well requiring approximately 3-4 weeks
drilling to the target horizon;
• Completing and testing each well for production, including casing and cementing the well per BLM and State
requirements;
• Constructing about 0.8 miles of gas pipeline to connect the Bull Mountain Pipeline to the Ragged Mountain Pipeline;
• Installing production equipment, which may include a well head, tank batter, pump-jack, meter, telemetry,
dehydrator/separator, and heater-treater;
• Reclaiming pipeline corridors, and as much of each well pad as possible once completion operations have ceased;
• Reclaiming all project disturbances once production operations have ceased.
Initially, one exploratory would be drilled and tested on each location. If gas in producible quantities is found, then
production equipment will be installed and the additional three wells will be drilled on each well pad. The drilling of the first
exploration wells is scheduled to occur in the summer of 2010. The projected amount of surface disturbance associated
with all activities in this MDP is about 26 acres.
