TMI may wish to consult DOW regarding installing raptor perches near the East Flume pond to protect <br /> the pond embankment from burying rodents. <br /> Revegetation <br /> Revegetation appeared successful at several locations on site. Little erosion was observed. Some <br /> weeds were observed as noted in Reclamation Success section. <br /> Air Resource Protection <br /> Roads were not a source of fugitive dust during the inspection. The Life of Mine Road had been <br /> treated with Magnesium Chloride prior to the inspection, and the road was watered by trucks during <br /> the inspection. <br /> Excess Spoil and Development Waste <br /> Construction of Horse Gulch Fill was observed, and it was noted that construction of side drains has <br /> not begun. Steve Hinkemeyer (TMI engineer) noted that the design is ongoing and that material for <br /> the drain is being collected. <br /> Reclamation Success <br /> Several patches of white top were observed in reclaimed areas near the Ash Pit, near F Pit, and in <br /> Johnson Gulch.
