The ponds will all be designed to contain the 10-year, 24-hour <br />precipitation event. Each will discharge to a tributary to Red Wash. The <br />outfalls will be numbered 0005 through 009, with 0005, 006 and 007 serving the <br />loadout area and 0008 and 0009 serving the slot storage area. The locations <br />of the outfalls are shown in Figure I on Page 19 of the permit. <br />Effluent limitations applicable to these new outfalls are shown on Pages 2 and <br />2a of the permit, and monitoring requirements are shown on Page 3a. The <br />• rationale for the limitations is found on Page 6 of the rationale for <br />amendment no. 1, dated October 4, 1983. <br />This permit action will amend Pages 2, 3a and 19 of the permit. <br />In conformance with Section 6.9.3(10) of the Regulations for the State <br />Discharge Permit System, this action shall not be subject to public notice. <br />Jon C.
