'SCHMUESER I GORDON I MEYER <br />E N G I N E E R S S U R V E Y O R S <br />RECLAMATION ACCOMPLISHED TO DATE <br />This pit was permitted in 2007; the reclamation accomplished since the pit's <br />inception has been mainly related to excavation of material similar to pit run <br />for capital improvement projects, in addition to stockpiling of topsoil. <br />Excavation has closely followed the predicted mining locations depicted in <br />last year's annual report. Diversion ditches, sedimentation pond and silt <br />fencing where needed, as shown on Exhibit 1, and are currently functioning <br />as designed, with routine maintenance and upkeep. The City has an <br />approved Stormwater Discharge Permit and is maintaining the Best <br />Management Practices associated with this permit. Full revegetation of <br />areas impacted during the installation of the BMPs has occurred, as shown <br />in the images nested above. <br />ANTICIPATED NEW DISTURBANCES FOR 2010-2011 <br />The extraction of materials from the Material Resource Area is expected to <br />continue predominantly eastward along the north mining face. The majority <br />of the anticipated disturbances are anticipated to be in a northeasterly <br />manner, predominantly along the east mining face.
