Mr. David Berry
131.3 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
June 4, 2010
RE: Permit Revision #6
t> -Y, 11 , 1,
2o t
a4
Dear Mr. Berry: We are requesting again that this type of permit revision be withdrawn because
of all the false documentation that it contains. It would be much more simple to just re-write a
factual document covering only the issues needed to get a proper . permit- revision that it is to re-
do this existing one. Maps are wt*n& information in index is wrong, facts are wrong, misuse of
laws, rules, and regulations and a total disregard for the farmer.
Page 2.03.4 "General caretaking activities but no mining or other disturbances" What about the
CC ditch when all the pipe and re- routing goes in?
"New Horizon I is not addressed in this permit renewal" It's not a RENEWAL, it's a
REVISION.
Page 2.03.1 I #9 Dirk Richardson. This is wrong, it should be Dirk Richards
#44 patty Morgan has not been mined. nor is she going to be mined.
Page 2.03 -28 "no Alluvial valley floors" 'There are several Alluvial Valley Floors within the
permit area and is documented as such.
2.03 -30 How did they get this permit renewal to 2013? The have broken numerous laws and
violated rules and regulations, how did they get this permit renewal #5 approved when we
objected in 2007 to it and when we have Never received a copy of it. And How did they get by
with putting 'NOT APPLICABLE" when. asked if there was any prime farmland?
2.04.3 -6 what abandoned cropland? What abandoned irrigated cropland? What abandoned
irrigated Farmland?
"improvements are generally limited to land leveling." WHAT A, LIE. Another cut to the
farmer. They don't even know how hard we work . to get these farms in the conditions that they
were before the mine entered the properties. Constant rock picking, constant fertilizing, constant
leveling and, cultipacking, rotations, constant removing weeds and unwanted growths, even
pastures require hours of maintenance. Constmtly fighting rodents and weevils and evcything.
"Induced wheat grasses" What induced wheat grasses which are actually a part of dryland mixes.
Not irrigated pastures and haylands
