Ill. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE
Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during
the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the
facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action.
dams continue to hold water and function as designed. The west ridge pond was full of water but did not
appear to be discharging.
Records: Miniing records were checked in the Routt County courthouse on June 3`d. The records are
stored in the Routt County Clerk & Recorder's office in the Vault. The records were well organized,
updated, and complete. Additional comments are included on the Availability of Records form included
with this report.
Signs and Markers: The mine id signs at both the northern access and southern access continue to be
maintained. Disturbance area markers consisting of orange "t-posts" are observed along the limits of the
disturbance.
The Chevron lock appears to be missing on the northern gate. Apparently there was a bird nest in the
gate mechanism that had inhibited its function during the Division's April inspection. The pesticide
contractor indicated that they had had to remove the nest to operate the gate. The lock remains
functional at the southern gate.
.....Vegetation on Reclaimed West Ridge block
5 of 7 WHITE - File YELLOW - Operator PINK - Specialist
Reclaimed West Ridge block looking towards north
