The mudpits remain open at the time of the
inspection.
The majority of the structures at the 18RT site have been removed with concrete slabs, casings, non
coal waste, and the access road remaining. Abandonment reports will need to be submitted to the
Division in regard to the mine openings associated with the 18RT site.
Excess rock dust was observed at the 6MN site that will need to be addressed.
Topsoil
Topsoil was being stripped and stockpiled at the RDA expansion. TCC personal stated that all topsoil
will be placed at the existing location east of the expansion area. No problems were noted.
Revegetation
The disturbance associated with the 18LT ventilation shaft dewatering project will require seeding
upon completion of the disturbance.
Subsidence
TCC has recently subsided Routt County Road 27. No evidence of subsidence damage was noted
during this inspection. Monitoring has been conducted on Routt County Road to ensure compliance
with subsidence plans.
