Please refer to Rule 3.1.Reclamation Standards: <br />3.1.1: No change from original permit <br />3.1.2 is not applicable. <br />3.1.3: reclamation is noted towards the end of mine life <br />3.1.4 is not applicable. Public access has been removed for safety reasons. <br />3.1.5: <br />(3) Please note comments regarding haul road sedimentation control. <br />(4) Backfilling within the quarry is proposed later, not currently. <br />(7) Because of the historic nature and size of material slopes of 2:1 or slightly less is acceptable. <br />(10) Major components of this amendment address this rule sub-section. <br />(11) Fuels and lubricants are contained in secondary structures or confined underground. <br />Rule 3.1.6 water-general requirements appear to be addressed. Major components of this <br />revision are to prevent the disturbance to the prevailing hydrological balance. <br />Rule 3.1.7 groundwater is not applicable. Water issues are surface in nature. <br />Rule 3.1.8 Wildlife is addressed in original permit. <br />Rule 3.1.9 (1), Topsoil is very limited. Colorado Stone has a test plot and the use of marble fines <br />is being explored. <br />Rule 3.1.10, Revegetation: Addressed within the reclamation plans. <br />Rule 3.1.11, Buildings and Structures: Certain structures such as the tower and marble block <br />waste pile have been noted to remain after reclamation. <br />Rule 3.1.12 Signs and markers are adequate. <br />Rule 3.1.13 Spill Reporting, Colorado Stone has on file an emergency reporting program that <br />includes DRMS. <br />6.3.5 - Exhibit E, Map <br />(2) Mine Plan Map <br />b) Please provide map of stockpile/ storage area that meets this requirement. <br />6.3.6 - Exhibit F, Other Permits: Please clarify that CDPHE discharge permit modification will be <br />completed prior to construction completion of stormwater structures.
