The problems should be corrected by the dates given, or they will become possible violations. The <br />possible violations should be corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all corrective actions taken. <br />PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS <br />AND <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />1. Noxious weed infestation as noted earlier in this report. <br />PB or PV: PB <br />TOPIC(S): RV <br />TS <br />COMPLY BY: <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: 7/5/2010 <br />Submit a Technical Revision to DRMS to update and improve the effectiveness of the current <br />weed control plan. The revised plan must include measures to be taken to address the <br />infestation of hoary cress and knapweed. The plan shall include spraying for noxious weeds <br />with appropriate herbicide(s) in the spring and the fall, and efforts to be continued for <br />controlling tamarisk. <br />2. Asphalt recycling operations are not currently approved or included in the DRMS permit. PB or PV: PB <br />TOPIC(S): MP <br />COMPLY BY: <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: 7/5/2010 <br />Submit a Technical Revision to DRMS to include the asphalt recycling operations and to update <br />the Reclamation Bond held by DRMS to include costs for removal and disposal of the <br />unprocessed asphalt. The Technical Revision must state the maximum amount of unprocessed <br />asphalt that will exist on-site at any one time, so that the costs for removal and disposal of the <br />unprocessed asphalt may be calculated by DRMS.
