subsidence is complete. Monitoring of both the pipeline and Stevens Gulch road via <br />subsidence monuments is proposed as required by Rule 2.05.6(6)(f)(iii)(C) to detect the <br />commencement and magnitude of subsidence. <br />My final comment is related to the requirements of Rule 4.20.2 [Public Notice of the <br />mining schedule]. The applicant should ensure that owners of structures and property <br />are notified as required by the Rule. In particular, the owner(s) of the pipeline would be <br />of primary concern regarding notification requirements. <br />Other than the minor issues as stated above, I have no other issues with the operator's <br />proposal. It appears that subsidence, as proposed, will have minimal or no impacts to <br />structures or renewable resource lands for the West Mine Expansion. <br />Let me know if you have any questions.
