We have opted not to pursue Phase 2 at this
point and time. We would like to add phase 2 through a modification to the existing NOI
in the future.
In Phase I, we plan on screening and sifting through the re-workings and backfilling of
pre-mined waste rock. After screening and examining the waste rock dump sites, we will
place the waste rock into the pre existing pit. We will use a track hoe and the use of a 1
ton dump truck to dump into the pre-existing pit. We will not create any new pits through
the removal or excavation of pre-mined waste rock. If the waste rock is on a sloped
surface, the material we move from that area will be conformed to the existing site with a
gentle slope subject to a slope limit of a 3-1 grade. If the area that we remove rock from
is on a level bench area, it will be gently smoothed to conform to a level area. We will
avoid sediment by not creating any pits or unnecessary cuts in the ground where we
remove waste rock.
After screening the waste dead rock, we will place the waste dead rock into the existing
pit. We will try to salvage growth medium and vegetation whenever it is found during
our operation, so that it can replace over back fill to its natural contours to be compatible
with the surrounding topograph after final reclamation is completed. We will dump dead
waste rock and push it in the pit floor against the high wall. I doubt that the pit will ever
