At the mine site, two culverts need to be cleaned out. These culverts are located where the permanent <br />road crosses the PD4 drainage. The larger pipe, a 36-inch CMP, contains significant sediment, and the <br />smaller pipe, a 12-inch CMP, is buried at the downstream end. <br />Need for Culvert Maintenance at the Mine Site (downstream end of pipes) <br />Support facilities: New activity at the loadout includes apparent electrical construction. No problems <br />were noted with the loadout pond or with the reclaimed loadout area. <br />Electrical Construction at Loadout <br />Fish and Wildlife: A snake was seen near the loadout pond. A large jackrabbit was seen at the mine site. <br />Moose tracks and excrement were seen at the loadout. <br />As the electrical construction (illustrated above) proceeds, the operator shall consider the need for raptor <br />protection per the permit, Section 816.97. <br />4 of 6 WHITE - File YELLOW - Operator PINK - Specialist
