Roads:
All roads were in good shape with minimal ruts. They were dry at the time of the inspection.
Permanent Light Use Road near Pond D Temporary Light Use Road
Hydrologic Balance: The loadout pond was full and generally in good shape with exceptions:
• The primary spillway pipe needs immediate cleanout at the downstream end.
• Willows exceeding 10 feet in height are growing in the channel below the emergency spillway
and on the embankment. These need to be removed.
• Minor rodent holes were observed in the embankment. These need to be filled.
The maintenance tasks for the problems with willows and rodent holes are not necessary if the pond is
reclaimed in year 2010.
A small discharge was observed from the primary spillway of the loadout pond. The water was clear.
Loadout Pond facing Northwest
4 of 6 WHITE - File YELLOW - Operator PINK - Specialist
