MANAGEMENT <br />Q?, 1p1 ms,??. <br />? of Rec\a?erl <br />P???9 araS <br />On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, (BRL), enclosed is an application for a minor <br />revision to move the proposed shaft geotechnical hole from drill site TC-03-01 to drill <br />site TC-03-03. <br />Background <br />Through TR-65 the DRMS approved the installation of a shaft geotechnical hole on the <br />existing TC-03-01 drill pad. Further engineering review determined that this site will not <br />work for raise boring. MR-115 approved the drilling of shallow geotechnical holes to <br />identify a better shaft location. This drilling determined the most favorable shaft <br />location was on the existing TC-03-03 drill pad located east of Terror Creek. <br />Right of Entry <br />Right of entry is granted by BRL's Federal Coal lease subject to analysis of impacts by <br />the surface management agency. <br />Affected and Disturbed Area <br />There will not be any new disturbance. The geotechnical hole will be drilled from an <br />existing drill site. <br />Cultural Resources <br />See Volume VI, item 12. <br />Access <br />Access to the geotechnical hole will be up Stevens Gulch road and then south on <br />Terror Creek Road. <br />Soils <br />Not applicable. No new disturbance will result from this drilling.
