PHASE ONE
In phase one we plan to pick and sift through old pre existing rock dump sites. We
will push the dead rock material back into the large pre-existing pit, also referred to
as the big room. This will be on going reclaiming project, until the area is filled back
to its surrounding topography. As this pre-lawed pit was an area that was worked
on for many years by previous owners.
PHASE TWO;
We will prospect and explore an existing slot that is 20 feet wide by 30 feet deep on
the southern part of the prospect area (photo attached). We may extend and.widen
it. If we find a turquoise vein, we may use the excavator to dig and expose the area.
We may drill and blast if necessary. The work area will be approximately 1/10 of an
acre MIL. Over burden will be stock piled adjacent to the mouth of the prospect
area. The area is big enough to adequately stockpile overburden that we
temporarily remove. We will stabilize the overburden stock pile to avoid sediment
transport to the hill slope below. Any areas that we may disturb will be backfilled
and pushed back up against the hill to its natural contours to be compatible with the
surrounding topograph. When prospecting is completed we will back fill all the
waste rock to the bench and the floor of the hilL We will push it up against the
lower wall using a surface grade of 3-1. If seeding is required we will spread rabbit
bush seed after reclamation is completed. No compacting is anticipated.
Both Phases will not be active at the same time. We will limit one phase after the
other.
PROPOSED OPERATION:
We plan to begin our operation May 24, 2010. It will be on going as a seasonal
operation for approximately two years of proposed date of commencement.
The proposed operation is going to be casual, prospecting and exploring. The work
will mostly be done with picks and rakes and shovels in order to explore the areas
for sampling.
A Drott track hoe and a one ton truck may be used in selected areas. The track hoe
may be used to move and scrape the dead rock material to refill the large pit and
trenches. The track hoe will remain at the mine site as long as we are prospecting
and working at the mine site. It would not be cost effective to move this piece of
equipment out on a daily basis. We will remove the track hoe when we are not
working at the mine site, which will be on a seasonal basis. The inoperable
bulldozer that is currently at the mine site belongs to Manassa resident Richard
Martin. He has been notified to remove it immediately, as it is not operable or
pertinent to our operation.
SAFETY HAZZARD MITIGATION:
