P N <br /> B Scf�� u 14a' <br /> Measurement and Payment ` s� �('' o GI`fees°W <br /> Measurement and payment for this Task will be as per Revegetation Specification 20.0 of the ,0- <br /> General Bid Specifications, 2006. The price bid shall include all costs for labor, materials, <J <br /> equipment and all other items necessary for revegetation as described in these specifications. <br /> Payment for this task will be made only for the unit price shown under Item 6 of the Bid <br /> Schedule. Payment shall be as this task is completed and approved by the PROJECT <br /> MANAGER. <br /> PROJECT OBSERVATION <br /> The PROJECT MANAGER will be at the project site periodically to monitor construction activities <br /> and ensure that each work item is completed and constructed to design specifications. The <br /> PROJECT MANAGER will be available during regular business hours(43:00 A.M.to 5:00 P.M.)on <br /> weekdays. Inspections will not be scheduled on weekend days or holidays without prior approval of <br /> the PROJECT MANAGER. It is the Contractor's responsibility to schedule inspections with the <br /> Project Manager so as not to delay the work. The following items must be observed and approved <br /> by the PROJECT MANAGER before proceeding with additional work: <br /> Portal Repair-The extent of the exposure of the portal hole prior to backfill,compaction and <br /> rock placement. <br /> Polyurethane foam installation, if required. <br /> All Equipment Rental Hours. <br /> ADDITIONAL BID ITEMS <br /> There are included on the Bid Schedule, several additional bid items. These bid items are not <br /> guaranteed, and will be used only in the event that conditions change on site, and only after <br /> approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. The additional bid items for this project include: <br /> 1. Equipment Rental-Excavator,CAT 320BL or equivalent sized w/minimum 20'reach,turbo <br /> charged apoperator. <br /> 2. Provide and install 30 cubic yards of riprap from on site source, per specs, if required. <br /> 3. Provide and install 10 cubic yards of polyurethane foam, per specs, if required. <br /> - 11 - <br />
