There may be limited instances where direct access to a proposed drill-site is not possible using the <br />existing road network. In these circumstances, drilling equipment will be moved overland the short <br />distance between the existing roadway and proposed exploration pad without constructing a new <br />road. In accordance with Rules 2.02.2(2)(f) and 4.21.4(3)(a) of the Regulations of the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, vehicular travel on other than established <br />graded and surfaced roads will be limited to that absolutely necessary to conduct the exploration. <br />Travel will be confined to graded and surfaced roads during periods when excessive damage to <br />vegetation or rutting of the land surface could result from such travel. <br />Environmental Analysis (Provide the following information for the checked items) <br />? Geologic hazards <br />? Mitigation techniques proposed for geologic hazards <br />? Hydrologic hazards <br />? Mitigation techniques for hydrologic hazards <br />? Wildlife impacts - Report from Division of Wildlife <br />? Suggested mitigation (from Division of Wildlife) <br />? Wildfire hazards (report from State Forester) <br />? Mitigation techniques for wildfire hazards <br />? Soils: Erosion control management practices - report from Soil Conservation Service <br />See attached supplemental information. <br />Petitioner shall provide a report on the following: <br />1. Air pollution potential from facilities, roads and/or equipment. <br />2. Air pollution controls on facilities, road and equipment. <br />3. Water pollution controls. <br />4. Noise abatement techniques: <br />Hours of operation <br />Distance <br />Type of equipment <br />;?ndscaping, earth moving, visual screening plan andlor landscape plan. <br />See attached supplemental information. <br />Reclamation Plan <br />1. Sketch of existing and final contours, retaining wall(s) and other structures. <br />2. Proposed future land use(s) and its locations. <br />3.
