Hole Plugging: All but one or two of the drill holes contained within the Ruby
Trust Mine Site will be plugged with cement top to bottom. One or two drill
holes may be used as pilot holes for either ventilation, secondary escape way
and/or supply routes. At this time it is impossible to say which holes may be
used, as that will depend on what is found during the drilling operations. If a
vent hole, shaft, etc. is needed as part of the expanded mining operation then a
technical revision of permit no. M-1979-181 will be request to cover such an
operation.
Hole Depths: Exact hole depths for each drill hole is an unknown until drilling
actually begins. This is because of exact vein dip and strike changes. Currently,
we plan to drill; 30 holes 200 feet deep, 30 holes 400 feet deep, 25 holes 500
feet deep, 10 holes 1000 feet deep, 10 holes 1500 feet deep, 10 holes 1750 feet
deep and 10 holes 2000 feet deep. It is important to note that this is an
estimate and once drilling begins hole depths and numbers will change.
6. Additional Items: Any exploration program starts with a proposed number of
holes. Once drilling begins and drill hole information is obtained each individual
site's hole numbers will change. Not every drill site will find ore. Such sites may
require only one or two holes. Other sites will find proper vein development and
will result in 10 holes to properly define the ore body. Veins in the San Juan
Mountains do not have ore in their entire strike length. Each vein has ore
shoots. These shoots vary in size (length and dip) depending on structure and
vein configuration. This rank exploration program is designed to evaluate the
