The MANUFACTURER shall issue a warranty on the geomembrane material for a minimum <br />period of 20 years. <br />1.06 DEFINITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br />A. OWNER <br />1. The OWNER is responsible for scheduling and coordination of the required work with <br />the MANUFACTURER and the INSTALLER to complete the project. <br />B. ENGINEER <br />1. The ENGINEER is responsible for ensuring that all preparation and installation is <br />conducted in accordance with the approved design, and oversees and documents all <br />onsite QA/QC activities. <br />C. MANUFACTURER <br />1. The MANUFACTURER is the firm or corporation responsible for production of the <br />geomembrane material to be used in the project. The MANUFACTURER shall produce <br />a consistent product meeting the project specifications and shall provide quality control <br />documentation for the product specified herein. <br />D. INSTALLER <br />1. The INSTALLER is the firm or corporation responsible for installation of the <br />geomembrane. The INSTALLER shall be the MANUFACTURER or an approved <br />INSTALLER trained and certified to install the MANUFACTUREWs geomembrane. <br />The INSTALLER shall be responsible for field handling, storing, placing, and all other <br />aspects of the geomembrane installation. <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. General <br />1. The PVC liner shall be manufactured from virgin polymers and other compounding <br />materials and shall meet the property values specified in Table 1. <br />2. Regrind, reworked, or trim materials shall be from the same MANUFACTURER and the <br />same formulation as the liner. No more than 10 percent regrind, reworked, or trim <br />materials shall be used to manufacture the liner. Recycled materials shall not be allowed. <br />3. The geomembrane sheet shall consist of PVC resin in amounts greater than 50% of the <br />total polymer content suitably compounded with plasticizers, stabilizers, additives, and <br />pigments, to satisfy the physical property requirements. <br />0, B.
