Natural fine material that is generated by the
crushing activities will be stockpiled in an area near the overburden stockpiles that can be used
as a growth medium during the reclamation efforts described in Exhibit E. Maximum
processing is approximately 3,000 tons per day. Since a portable crusher is used, the location
of the crushing operation changes as the mining proceeds across the resource area. Crushing
apparatus will be operated under the stipulations contained within the Construction (Air) Permit
issued by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. From time to time used
asphalt pavement, concrete rubble and inert soil may be delivered to the operation from off site
sources. Any material delivered to the facility from outside sources that will be used in the
backfilling and grading operations, Described in Exhibit E, the following procedure will be
implemented to insure that the material is clean and inert:
Rev. 02/25/10 3
