Material <br />Rate /Ac. <br />Fiber Mulch <br />2,000 lbs. <br />Tackifier <br />200 lbs. <br />Straw Mulch (approx.) <br />100 bales <br />WEED CONTROL - If necessary, weed control measures will be employed for control of any <br />noxious weed species. Control measures will also be used if the growth of weed species on the <br />reclaimed area threatens further spread of the weeds to nearby areas. In the event that weed <br />control is required, herbicides will be of those that are approved by the Soil Conservation <br />Service and applied by a licensed herbicide applier. A Weed Control Plan will be utilized as <br />foI lows: <br />❑ A semi - annual inspection of all disturbed areas by trained weed control personnel. <br />❑ Treat any identified infested areas with herbicide recommended by the local weed <br />control authorities. <br />❑ Inspect the infested area after 2 weeks and re -apply herbicide as required. <br />❑ Inspect the site at 4 -week intervals after the second inspection and re -treat as required. <br />❑ Any weed control refuse left from previous year's growth will be burned on site. <br />Rev. 02/25/10 3 <br />
