The null hypothesis being tested is that the mean value at the reclaimed site is greater than or <br />equal to Q, with 90% statistical confidence. If tc is less than or equal to the 1-tailed t table <br />value for alpha error probability of 0.10, at n-1 degrees of freedom (infinite degrees of <br />freedom may be used if n > 30), then the null hypothesis is not rejected, and revegetation is <br />deemed successful. <br />Please see the attached December 12, 2008 BIO-Logic reported, titled :2007-2008 Vegetation <br />Studies for Phase 3 Bond Release, First and Second Year Analysis, Irrigated Pasture and <br />Dryland Pasture, page 15 & 16. <br />As demonstrated in the BIO-Logic report, the Dryland Pasture cover has a t. of 0.938. The 1- <br />tailed t table value (t) has a value of 1.323. The null hypothesis is accepted, and revegetation <br />in the reclaimed Dryland Pasture area is deemed successful. <br />30
