total mixed rose, chokecherry and wax currant. Field checks in September 2009 showed good
growth for grass, shrubs, and trees.
The two prospects opened on the C & J No. 1 and Free Hawk were reseeded with native grass
mix. The access road to the Free Hawk was also recontoured and reseeded. The gate will remain
in place until 80 percent growth is achieved.
Proposed 2010 Operations:
Operations will be in conjunction with operations on Colorado Calumet Company claims and
Glacier Peak Mining claims between early May through early August. Mechanized operations
will be limited to 15 working days on the Crystaljack claims. We will use a John Deere 992
and/or 690 track hoe on the Two Point Mine at Site 6, Site 5 (Site E) on Qui-Buc No. 1, and Site
13 on Qui-Buc No. 1. An exploratory prospect may be put in between Sites 1 and 2 on the Ute.
Site visits, including mineral extraction, reclamation, and claim maintenance will be continued
throughout the season.
Proposed 2010 Disturbances:
Proposed operations for 2010 at Site 6 on the Two Point Mine will open the site approximately
0.3 acre. Site 5 (Site E) and Site 13 on Qui-Buc 1 will be approximately an additional 0.4 acre
for a total of 0.7 acre disturbance during 2010.
Proposed 2010 Reclamation:
All sites and prospects opened during 2010 will be closed and reclaimed, except possibly a small
portion of Site 5 (Site E) and Site 13 on Qui-Buc No. 1. If so, these sites will be made safe for
winter.
All sites and prospects opened and closed during 2010 will be reseeded with native grasses.
Sufficiency of Bond:
A reclamation bond of $ 2,200 was set aside in 1993 to cover annual operations and disturbances
under this mining permit. Additionally, a bond for $11,190 covering roads for this operation and
two other operations is set aside with the U.S.F.S.
Respectfully submitted,
- L
JOSEPH L. DORRIS
Operator, Crystaljack Mining
2 Attch.
1. Site maps
2. Reclamation photos
