Y
6 .4.3 - Exhibit C Pre-Mining and Mining Maps.
(a) Within the application narrative it is noted the mine is on and surrounded by
BLM lands.
(b), Map C-4 notes all man-made structures within 200 feet of the proposed
affected area.
(c), Maps supplied give sufficient details for topography
(d), Maps clearly define total area involved in the operation
(e), Arial photography overlay on maps notes typical juniper/ pinion cover.
(f), Map C-5, and D-1 note stormwater control flows and sources. An unnamed
minor drainage area is noted next to the permit area, northwest of the portal
that was affected by pre-law mining activities. Stormwater controls must
address impacts to this area.
(g), All structures appear to be noted.
(h) Information is provided in Exhibit 1.
6.4.4- Exhibit D, Mining Plan
General Notes:
Please clarify that the ore load out area is included in the ore storage area. The
load out area must be included any radiometric surveys and reclamation must
bring the area back to the same baseline as noted for the ore storage pad.
The drilling plan is noted to occur in three potential phases. A Notice of Intent is not
required nor allowed within a permitted area. If activities occur within the approved
affected areas of a reclamation permit, which the proposed plans appear to address,
they are considered part of the mine plans and are addressed accordingly. The
applicant must commit to a maximum number of holes at any given time and the
Division will bond for that activity. The operator would not need to submit for
additional approvals provided the number of holes and the areas of interest do not
exceed any approvals given under current review.
Please fully describe the anticipated depth and lengths of mine workings as currently
planned.
(a) adequate per narration
(b) adequate per narration
(c) general plan is adequate, more detailed analysis in Exhibit T
(d) adequate per narration
(e) Please provide an approximate mining timetable as require by this rule
subsection. Also state clearly that the operation will be noted for
intermittent status.
(f) For bond calculation purposes please provide the estimates tonnage and
final area of waste rock to be generated during the life of the mine.
(g) adequate per narration
(h) adequate per narration
(i) it is noted explosives will be used in the course of mining operations.
