Sorenson, DRMS <br />Bond Reduction <br />March 2, 2010 <br />Attachments Included for Bond Reduction Request: <br />Below is a list of attachments included in this transmittal to aid the DRMS in its review. <br />• Attachment A: Table showing a summary of activities approved under NOI File Nos. P- <br />2008-043 and P-2008-043 MD-01. <br />• Attachment B: Table showing the locations of abandoned exploration boreholes and <br />constructed groundwater monitoring wells. <br />• Attachment C: Map showing locations of reclamation activities. <br />• Attachment D: Mineral Prospecting Drill Hole Permanent Abandonment Reports for <br />exploration boreholes. <br />• Attachment E: Colorado State Engineers Office Well Construction and Test Reports for <br />groundwater monitoring wells. <br />• Attachment F: Table showing constructed groundwater monitoring wells and bonded <br />open-hole volume needed to complete abandonment. <br />o A portion of the original volume of hole to be abandoned was done so during the <br />groundwater monitoring well construction process. This table shows the <br />remaining volume of hole needed to be bonded to complete abandonment. One <br />monitoring well (C-004-35) has not been advanced, and Powertech would like <br />that portion of the bond to remain in place for all activities for future construction <br />of the well. <br />Attachment G: Table showing the results of exploration borehole and groundwater <br />monitoring well mud pit analyses for radionuclides. <br />Attachment H: Drilling mud pit lab reports and analytical results for radionuclides. <br />Attachment I: Reclamation information forms and photographs for exploration borehole <br />and groundwater monitoring well locations. <br />Powertech would like to schedule a time and day for DRMS personnel to visit the project site to <br />inspect activities that have been completed under the subject NOIs, and are proposed for <br />financial warranty bond release.
