LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR OF DIVISION OF RECLAMATION, MINES, AND
• SAFETY
This letter indicates to us that the Director nor the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
has even read the Permit-Revision #6 and if they have, they do not understand any of it.
(1) The Last date of the public Notices was in fact, December 31, 2009, which means that the
Public comment period would be through January 30, 2010. If they were involved, they would
have seen that the map that was suppose to be included in their publication was left out and
therefore, they published another week ending on December 31, 2009.
(2) The Director states that WFC proposes to install three permanent siderolls, which in fact
WFC proposes THE USE OF 3 siderolls for the reclamation period as well as the irrigation pipe.
- -- T-he-use-af-anlythrough-reclamatiarr.- - -
(3) The director states that these are to irrigate 60 acres which our property was historically
irrigated since 1959 and are prime farmlands not just prime soils. According to the application,
she states that None of the Morgan property are to be reclaimed as DRYLAND. Now, does this
• tell everyone that this lady has not read any of this? DRYLAND AND POTENTIAL
CROPLAND ARE THE SAME THING! ! ! ! ! THIS WAS A FANCY TERMINOLOGY TO NOT
SCARE EVERYONE RIGHT OFF THE BAT. DRYLAND AND POTENTIAL CROPLAND
ARE THE SAME THING! ! ! ! ! !
(4)The Morgan Property has been historically irrigated since 1959 and IT is PRIME
FARMLAND NOT JUST PRIME SOILS!!!!! The entire Morgan Property will be returned to
the irrigated condition it was prior to the mine entering the property. The DRMS has used the
NRCS letters incorrectly, AGAIN! ! ! ! !
E
