Cattan Craig, CO 81625 Division Director Natural Resource Trustee Re: Yoast Mine Permit No. - 1994 -082) Technical Revision Application No. 4 T - Pond 12 Slide Remediation Plan Dear Ms. Maiolo: The Division of Reclamation , Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with 'Title 34, Article , Section 116, Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on February 24, 2010, an application to revise coal lining operations at the Yoast Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filling. The revision was submitted by Seneca Coal Company, LL C. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. The Technical Revision application presents a remediation plan for a landslide in the Pond 12 watershed at the Yoast Mire, referred to as the "Pond 12 Slide ". The Surface coal minin operation is on land located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Hayden, Colorado. The permit area is ftwther described as follows: TI, R87W, Portions of Sections 2 8, 29 and 32 T5I, R87w, All of Section 17; Portions of Sections 5, 8 16 18, 19, 20 29 3 Mt. Harris & Iunckley The above - mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Mount Harris and > unckley. The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of publication of this notice, the applicant is ditionall required to place a copy of this application at the Hayden Public Library, 201 E. Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, CO 81639 -1813, and at the Division office.
