4
Appendix A - DRMS Form 2 Public
GeoLynx LLC Crampton Project 2010 N01
lifted water from the drill holes. The estimated disturbed area for the pit and stockpiled material
will be about 13ft X 18ft or 234ft square per site, or 0.01 acres in total. The test pits will be
within the larger 30 ft x 65 ft proposed drill pads. For bonding calculations, the entire 1,950
square foot drill pad will be considered. In addition, the roads (1500 feet by 8 feet) will be
considered "disturbed" although this is highly unlikely. Total surface disturbance then is
estimated to be about 0.499 acres (1,950 square feet X 5 sites plus 12,000 square feet of roads).
Given the equipment and mud pit constraints, a pad can be a more amorphous shape than
indicated above as it is configured to fit around minor topographic and vegetative features.
Figure A-1 is a schematic drawing of a proposed pad with equipment locations and cuttings/fluid
flow.
d.I- .y t.. \?
Craw -
Pick'. ip
it xc?o cx vea ° .t i9J I.4 ,ri5 x R.::,r ne,q PCCBSs P030
cr Tral
:O` ?F[O S'. ?J F?'c c'n al h:' SYJ t^ {•hi'. In the event that large amounts of water are
encountered during drilling, the pits will be designed and maintained so that only decanted water
is allowed to escape to the surrounding area that is not an ephemeral drainage.
Some of the access trails and drill pads may require some cutting of brush, tree limbs and
perhaps the removal of a specific pinion or juniper tree. Cut material will be temporarily placed
in a pile or piles adjacent to the access trail or drill site, and then scattered back over the trail or
site during reclamation. See Attachment B for a photo which is typical of the proposed drill sites
and access trails.
Drill Hole Abandonment
