Page 15 <br />Rule 2.05.6(6)(f)(iii)(C)(V) Monitoring, if any, to determine the commencement and degree of <br />subsidence so that other appropriate measures can be taken to prevent or reduce material <br />damage. <br />The monitoring program, see Rule 2.05.6(6)(f)(v)(B) below, provides the data necessary to make <br />this determination. <br />Rule 2.05.6(6)(f)(iv) A detailed description of the measures to be taken to mitigate the effects of <br />any material damage or diminution of value or foreseeable use of lands which may occur, <br />including one or more of the following as required in 4.20.3: <br />The application includes a"description of a number measures to mitigate the diminution of values <br />or foreseeable use of lands. Not identified, but believed to happen, is material damage to <br />Dove Cave. <br />Rule 2.05.6(6)(f)(iv)(A) Restoration or rehabilitation of structures and features, including <br />approximate land-surface contours, to premining condition. <br />Repairs to roads are proposed by grader or dozer (revised pages 2.05-103 and 2.05-105). Ponds <br />are proposed to be repaired by lining with impervious materials. Surface cracks near springs <br />would be sealed and springs might need to be rehabilitated (revised page 2.05-105). Exhibit 15 <br />(pages 36 through 45) also describes repair activities for streams and ponds, springs, <br />groundwater, landslides, and roads and trails. <br />Rule 2.05.6(6)(f)(iv)(B) Replacement of structures destroyed by subsidence. <br />No structures are anticipated to be destroyed by subsidence (except that this review identifies <br />Dove Cave), thus there is no plan for replacement. <br />Rule 2.05.6(6)(f)(iv)(C) Purchase of structures prior to mining and restoration of the land after <br />subsidence to condition capable of supporting and suitable for the structures and foreseeable <br />land uses. <br />There are no proposals to purchase structures. <br />Rule 2.05.6(6)(f)(iv)(D) Purchase of non-cancellable insurance policies payable to the surface <br />owner in the full amount of the possible material damage or other comparable measures. <br />There is no proposal to purchase insurance policies. <br />Rule 2.05.6(6)(f)(v) A detailed description of measures to be taken to determine the degree of <br />material damage or diminution of value or foreseeable use of the surface, including such <br />measures as:
