The SWAP Administrator should
confirm that ore truck drivers are following a spill control plan and maintain spill control
equipment in their vehicles.
g. Identification of Discharges other than Stormwater
No discharges other than stormwater will occur at the mine site.
5. Comprehensive Inspection
The SWMP administrator will be responsible for insuring that BMPs, spill equipment, and all
operations areas are inspected at least twice annually for compliance with this SWMP. The
administrator will maintain a record of each inspection. He/she will summarize the inspection
results in an annual report to the CDPHE and will make copies of the inspection records available
at CDPHE request.
In addition, inspections of stormwater BMPs will be inspected within 24 hours of a rainfall event
which results in measurable runoff. BMWs found to be in need of maintenance will be repaired
immediately or as soon as practical.
6. Consistency with Other Plans
No other plans are required for this mine. However, this plan is consistent with related provisions
of the Colorado DRMS 112d permit for the Last Chance Mine.
7
