Colorado Stone Quarries, Inc. will train all of its employees which
will work at the quarry site for their protection and so that they will be prepared to
respond to emergencies involving fellow employees and in some cases, the public visitors
to the site. Attached to this document is the MSHA required Training Plan that defines
the planned training that various employees will be required to receive. Each employee
will be required to not only receive the training but must demonstrate proficiency in the
application of such training through practical exercises and/or testing.
Another key element of employee safety awareness is routine safety meetings,
where brief reviews of the standard operating procedures occurs. Better and safer
procedures will constantly be sought as part of this process of continued awareness. Such
sessions will involve all operating personnel and will be conducted in an open
atmosphere to encourage all employees to make safety their individual responsibility-
Off Site Emergency Preparedness
Colorado Stone Quarries, Inc. will maintain in good condition the following,
equipment to respond to off site and transportation related emergencies.
