The following summarizes regulatory related activities: • No wells were plugged and abandoned in 2009. • Two (2) exploration core holes were completed in the eastern portion of Panel 2. • Injection and recovery well pairs were completed in cavity IOH andI IH, in the eastern portion of Panel 2. • The two exploration core holes were converted to monitor wells, DS-4 and BG-5. • Twelve site inspections by the BLM and one inspection by the EPA. 3.2 Proposed 20IOActivities and Schedule 3.2.1 Processing Natural Soda, Inc. anticipates sales in excess of 100,000 tons in 2010. Approximately five boil outs of five-day durations are planned in 2010. Although no process modifications are anticipated in 2010, plans continue to expand the plants capabilities over the next several years. 3.2.2 Well field During 2010, it is anticipated that several exploration holes will be completed to the east of Cavity 5. If practicable, at least one of the wells will be converted to an A-groove monitor well. In addition, wells 93-2M and lA-5HR are scheduled to be plugged and abandoned. 2009 Annual Report 3 of 33
