July 1, 2001 for a period of ten years. <br />Annual rental and minimum royalty payments were submitted to the Mineral Management Service. <br />3.0 Project Status <br />3.1 2009 Project Activities <br />NSI produced 97.266 tons of sodium bicarbonate in 2009 using cavities 5H, 61-1. 7H. 101-1 and <br />I I H. There were no significant production outages experienced during 2009. Routine "boil outs" <br />"ere performed six (6) times in 2009. Various short shut-downs were required for equipment <br />repair and/or replacement. <br />3.1.2 Items of Significance <br />1. Cavities 101-1 and 1 1 H were brought on line during 2009. This included the construction of <br />supporting infrastructure such as electric service and pipelines. <br />?. NSI posted the additional bond. as calculated by DRMS in 2008. <br />3. One ( I ) new core hole. 10H-C, was drilled to obtain information regarding the geology and <br />was subsequently converted to a Dissolution Surface Aquifer monitor. <br />4.
