(NSI) hereby submits the attached Technical Revision. The purpose
of the drilling activity associated with this technical revision is to further define the extent
of nahcolite and the presence or absence of halite by drilling a series of spot core holes.
The appraisal program plan includes core holes at seven new drill pad locations. NSI
intends to selectively drill only four of the core holes, one each, at four of the following
seven proposed pads: 2010-26-198-1C, 2010-26-198-2C, 2010-26-198-3C, 2010-26-
198-4C, 2010-26-198-5C, 2010-26-198-6C, and 2010-26-198-7C. NSI would like the
option to selectively drill these locations subsequent to acquiring knowledge from the
first one or two holes drilled. After the completion of coring, logging and testing
operations, all holes covered under this technical revision will be completed as a
subsidence and/or ground water monitoring well or abandoned and reclaimed in
accordance with applicable requirements. NSI is committed to minimize surface
disturbance and utilize the existing disturbed areas to the maximum extent possible.
Natural Soda, Inc • 3200 RBC Road 31 • Rifle, Colorado 81650 • Ph: 970.878.3674 • Fax: 970.878.5866 • www.naturalsoda.com
