Addendum to the Environmental
Geochemistry Investigation of Soil and
Rock Materials, Sunday Mines Group
Additional work was completed to address various technical adequacy issues
identified by the Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety in their August
28, 2009 comments to the Sunday Mines Group Environmental Protection Plan. The
following information addresses DRMS' comment regarding application of the
UNSAT-H model to high-intensity short-term precipitation events. A sensitivity
analysis of the simulated precipitation rate was conducted using UNSAT-H, which
evaluated the effect of various simulated precipitation rates on the estimated
percolation of water through development rock piles. The attached calculation brief
provides a detailed description of the sensitivity analysis and the results of this work.
u

??Qel
0 JAiv ® AeD
Oi KS nnO0 Fi?,i ®?®
Mih hg an sarI a on
ety ,
