Sound level measurements (if taken). <br />Seismograph Blasting -There will be no seismograph blasting conducted on the mine site. <br />8lastino Schedule -Before beginning a blasting program in which blasts using more than five <br />pounds of explosives are detonated, BME and its contractors will publish a blasting schedule at <br />least 10 days but no more than 20 days before beginning the blasting program. The blasting <br />schedule will be published in the local newspaper. Copies of the schedule will be distributed by <br />mail to local governments and public utilities and it will be republished and distributed every 12 <br />months if blasting continues in accordance with Rule 4.08.3 of the regulations. <br />The schedule will contain the following: <br />1. Specific areas in which blasting will occur. <br />2. Dates and times of detonation. <br />3. Methods used to secure blasting area. <br />4. Types of audible warning and all-clear signals. <br />5. Description of blasting at times other than those described in the schedule. <br />6. Public notice of changes in the blasting schedule. <br />7. Before blasting in areas or at times not in a previous schedule, a revised schedule will <br />• be prepared and published. <br />IV.C Coal Processing, Transportation and Storage Facilities <br />Coal is conveyed from the mine to a central processing/storage area to be washed and then <br />conveyed to a Vain IoadouUstorage area to await shipment to the power plant. This section <br />describes the surface intra-plant transportation, processing and storage facilities. <br />IV.C.1 Conveyors Intra-plant conveyors are sized to Vansport 6" x 0 run-of-mine (ROM) coal at <br />the maximum anticipated mine production rate which will be required to supply an 800-MW power <br />plant consisting of two 400-MW units. <br />Conveyor BC-101 delivers underground coal from the bottom of the "D" Portal into the 150-ton <br />surge bin located adjacent to the portal entry. (Map 15). Conveyor BC-101 is designed to handle <br />mine surges. <br />A vibrating feeder under the surge bin loads up to 1500 TPH on Conveyor BC-102.
