Installation shall be performed under the constant direction of single Installation <br />Superintendent who shall remain on -site and be responsible, throughout the geomembrane <br />installation, for geomembrane layout, seaming, patching, testing, repairs, and all other <br />activities by INSTALLER. <br />3. The Installation Superintendent shall have installed or supervised, at a minimum three <br />installation projects that entailed the installation of at least a total of 1,000,000 square feet of <br />the type of geomembrane that is being installed at the Cresson Project. <br />4. Actual seaming shall be performed under the direction of a Master Seamer (who may also be <br />the Installation Superintendent) who has seamed a minimum of 1,000,000 square feet of the <br />type of geomembrane that is being installed at the Cresson Project, using the same type of <br />seaming apparatus specified for the Work. <br />5. The Installation Superintendent and/or Master Seamer shall be present whenever seaming is <br />performed. <br />C. Quality Assurance Program <br />1. All WORK shall be constructed, monitored, and tested in compliance with the requirements <br />of the Construction Quality Assurance Plan (Section 01400.2). CONTRACTOR and <br />MANUFACTURER shall participate in and comply with all items in these <br />SPECIFICATIONS and requirements of the CQA plan. <br />2. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that each geomembrane MANUFACTURER that supplies <br />I 's materials to this project has an internal product quality control program that meets <br />SPECIFICATIONS. <br />3. During manufacturing of the geomembrane, samples of geomembrane shall be removed for <br />laboratory testing to ensure compliance with this SPECIFICATION. Conformance <br />sampling and testing will be performed in accordance with the Construction Quality <br />Assurance Plan. <br />4. CONTRACTOR shall assure that the geomembrane is delivered to the site at least 10 <br />calendar days prior to installation. CONTRACTOR will provide required Quality Control <br />information 10 calendar days prior to geosynthetics being delivered to the Cresson project <br />and on delivery of geosynthetics to the Cresson project. <br />5. Geomembrane rolls that do not meet the requirements of this SPECIFICATION will be <br />rejected. CONTRACTOR shall replace the rejected material with new material that <br />conforms to the SPECIFICATION requirements, at no additional cost to CC &V. <br />6. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all personnel performing geomembrane- seaming <br />operations are qualified by experience or by successfully passing seaming tests (see Article <br />3.08(D) of this section). MANAGER reserves the right to reject any welding technician <br />whose performance is unsatisfactory. <br />7.
